Hans Holbein the Younger (c. 1497 - c. early November 1543) was a German artist who is known for his portraits from the 16th century. This is a different person than his father Hans Holbein the Elder (c. 1460-1524) who was also an artist.
His famous circa 1535 painting of King Henry VIII of England has been used as artwork in various games. His portraits of Erasmus, Thomas More, and Thomas Cromwell are also quite famous.
This artist is also credited in Issue 9 of the Kobold Quarterly.
