Actually, I carry my lunch in an insulated 6 pack carrier intended for golf players. We found it at a garage sale.

Yes, Twinkies are unnatural. Unnaturally flavorful!

I'll grant that the dead are spongy, but are they full of delicious cream filling? Actually, don't answer that.

I've heard that the ingredients in the cream filling changes between the winter and summer months, because of the way it reacts to heat. I can't seem to find anything to confirm that, though....

I did find out that they have a shelf-life of 25 days, thanks to there being NO DAIRY PRODUCTS in them.

I believe it was Paula Poundstone who said she wouldn't eat Twinkies because they "don't have the protective chocolate coating." Germs can get in there so they're not as healthy to eat as, say, Ding Dongs. laugh

Paula Poundstone is undead and spongy-looking too. She is pretty funny, though.

Snoballs are for mama's boys. Twinkies demand a certain fortitude, like riding a bike without training wheels. Thusly, that horrid white marshmallow coating on Snoballs is the training wheel of undead, cream-filled sponge cake.

Off to play some games!

Actually, I do, left over from 1st grade (30 years ago). My daighter's crayons reside in it now, after it spent decades as a great-aunt's stationary case.

Twinkies freak me out. They're great...in a really gross way. There's something oddly compelling about them that makes me go through entire packets of these knowing full well that I should stop after one. The cream is sickening and the fake/oily/sugary/spongy sponge is almost repelling in nature (not to mention the slick, clear, oily residue on the packaging)...but...YUM!
