No problem Francisco. Although Origins had turns only 1000-years long, I think Bios Megafauna uses 6 million year turns, so ten thousand years is a drop in the bucket. Wasn't there an insipid Zager & Evans song "Now its been ten thousand years, man has cried a billion tears..."

BTW,I received the first production copy of High Frontier Colonization the other day, it looks great. Also finally finished the Interstellar redesign, and this is posted on Zazzle.

SPI's Outreach, about the colonization of our galaxy using FTL travel, was somewhat (in)famous in its day for have game turns that represented an entire generation... but now that doesn't seem like much time at all!

Not really no, more than interstellar but somewhere in the 25 to 100 year range.I have Outreach, it's a nice game that's a tad abstract. It really needs an update though both rules wise and map wise. Dust is no longer the obstacle it was once believed to be since infrared ignores it. Basically line of sight rules need to be ditched in Outreach.
