For me, the Raings Stars are non-functional clutter. But if we must have them, can they at least be of higher contrast or have firmer shapes (like a clearly defined "empty" state versus the "full" state)??? For some of us who are colorblind, lack of contrast is hard to deal with. (I say some of us, because colorblindness is now understood to be a multi-faceted thing with much variation, as has been associated with up to 16 different genes.)

Aldie, thanks for all your efforts. I'm sure there are certified User Interface design folks out here that can help you with the human-factors side of things (like color choices for the vision disabled) and so on. Just ask for their help, I'm sure you'll receive.
