Tonight we played 4 games in a three player session.

No game took longer than 4 rounds. We had the impression that the game is over too quickly and that a player who puts a unit with a lot of hit points on a fulcrum almost certainly can successfully defend the fulcrum.

At round 4 at the latest one player had reached 8 dominance and the game was over just when we thought we got it going cry

Perhaps players should start with less dominance to make for a longer game?

Has anyone made similar experiences in a 3-player-session?

It was released last week here in the states. I'd have mine but my FLGS was shorted right before the holiday, so I have to wait until Wednesday.

Just played my first game of Cataclysm last night with 3 players and can confidently say that it's awesome. While the game went quicker than the old-school house rule we were using, it was by no means too quick. Now I have to find time to organize a 4 player game night...
