So I bought original pandemic and on the brink. I have played it quite a bit. My original cards could probably stand to be replaced. My question is this. What kind of quality does the new version have? Is the board as nice and thick as the original? This is not a question about old art vs new art. How's the card stock compared to the original? I have to say I think I'll keep my original wooden cubes. Thanks in advance.

I don't have the old version, but I can say that the new board is thick and sturdy.

Thanks. How about the cards do they have a linen texture? Are they sturdy or flimsy?

The new version is currently on sale at CSI for $21.99 + ~$5 smartpost shipping (but you know you'll just add $78.01 of filler to get free shipping)

Sale ends 7/7

Don't forget there's an upgrade pack for old editions, that would give you a new set of cards http://zmangames.com/product-details.php?id=1315

It is a great deal! I trout of picking a set up for backup.

I did sleeve the new cards from the game. And yes they fit perfectly in the box.

What size sleeves does this need?

Anyone get the upgrade pack set?

I was wondering if there are new cards or just the old cards with new graphics?

Thanks

Mayday Greens fit really well for the new version (and the old version I understand, there was no change in card size).

What are these greens that you speak of? Are these just the green sleeves from Mayday?

Unfortunately there are several Mayday sleeves that come in a pack with a green label.

The one's I've used on the Pandemic cards are :

A few of them are just a tad larger, width-wise, than the cards, but not enough to cause a problem.

And, when sleeved, you can get all the cards, in three stacks, into the tray in the new On The Brink box, though they are a tight fit.
