My wife and I played our first game of Carcassonne on Friday evening.
We played two more Saturday morning. By Saturday afternoon, we had
run out and purchased the I&C and T&B expansions. We're really
enjoying this game!
One thing I've noticed is that for our two-player games we
usually end up with only one or maybe two distinct "fields".
This has led to both of us rcving equal points for farm supported
cities at the end-game.
Is this a normal occurrence in a 2-plyr game?
Does having more players result in more separate
farms to score in the end game?
Are we going about the game wrong if we find
that our farm points are usually a wash?
I get the feeling that in most sessions, we'd
end up with one big farm that one person would
get all the points for. Instead of each player
having multiple farms.
Thanks for any replies.
I haven't played this much with more than two players, but when I have, there has never been a city supplied by only one player's farm. Someone always seems to place a farmer on the opposite side of a city in order to get the points.
