For Zombies!!! A Second Slice I have been asked by some players to come up with a rules change that allows players who have become zombies to be more aggressive or active. I have play tested this change a couple of times now, its a little scary.
When a zombie player is moving they have combat immediately with a human they move to, as a surprise zombie (so normal player zombie -3 and surprise -2). The combat is conducted by the human who may do all normal combat things. If the human loses a life token but is not killed then the zombie player must use a move point to attack again or the zombies movement ends. If the human is turned into a zombie and there are more humans in the space then the player zombie attacks yet another human and so on. If there are no humans left in the space and the player has move points left they continue their move.
When a zombie player is moving the non player zombies, when they move a zombie into a space with a human player the zombie player may require the human player to immediately conducts combat with the zombie as a surprise zombie.
The zombie player may also activate a zombie already in the same place as a human and have it fight, as one of the zombie players zombie moves. When activating such a zombie the zombie player takes one of the target humans trophies. The combat is conducted as a surprise zombie attack. Zombies that win a fight can continue to attack or move if they have move points left. Each attack after the first uses one of a zombies move points.
This is pretty nasty stuff as normally human players can only be surprised once during their turn by zombies in the space with them at the start of the turn. Now they can have nearby zombies pile on when a zombie player is having a turn.
