I gotta play Blue Moon with someone one day, or just sit and talk with a fan of the game, because I just can't find any fun in it. It's to CCG for me, I think. That is, you have to know what cards your opponent is going to have in his deck, and what cards he's used and hasn't used, and what their powers are.

I have not played most of the games on your list, but I cannot recommend Scarab / Minotaur Lords.

I do not recommend Inkognito: The card game. The board game, if you can find it, is worlds better. The card game greatly pales.

I like Blue Moon - I think it's a worthy tactical card game, and quick to play. You don't have to get all the expansions at once, so you can try the base game first and decide if you like it.

I cannot recommend Beowulf with 2. I don't think I'd recommend it with three players either. It swings to recommended with four or five though.

scarab lords or blue moon. I thought scarab lords would be a quicker version of a ccg where as blue moon had all the addons and took longer to play

I like Fury of Dracula.

I've not played it, I know someone with Beowulf who hates it.

Well I guess you could find that out by checking out which games I rated 4 or less....oh right, out of these games. Never played any of them, I think.

That's a pretty good list of games I avoid playing and if left with no choice, would probably leave a game night and go home rather than playing them.

Of the games you mentioned, I've only played Beowulf and Vampire: Prince of the City. I thought VPC stunk, and I'm very unlikely to play it again. Beowulf was tolerable but not a lot of fun although I can see how other people would like it a lot more than I did, so you might like it, especially with 5 players.

That is the kind of list that would be on my want list. So I'm figuring we have similar tastes.

I wouldn't recommend Scarab Lords, not if you are also looking at Blue Moon (which I DO recommend).

Mall of Horror is good.

Sounds like you have similar tastes to me as well. I would recommend Mall of Horror and Fury of Dracula. I haven't played Doom enough to warrant getting the expansion, I would hold off unless you think you're ready to add to the base game. I've read Beowulf's rulebook and I'm absolutely unimpressed.
