Hey all,

I'm looking for games in which the enemies are controlled by the game (movement, fighting, etc). Arkham Horror comes to mind as one, but are there others (or geeklists already made about this?)?

Thanks!

Gears of War and the Dungeons and Dragons Adventure games both do excellent jobs of AI control.

DVG games seem to do this well (they kind of have to), they are all solo games but if you are looking for something for a group they won't fit your plan.

Thunderbolt Apache Leader
Field Commander: Rommel
Phantom Leader
etc...

Mice and Mystics

I think Mage Knight The Lost Legion's Volkare acts like that too, but I haven't read the rules yet.

Lots of co-op and semi-co-op fall into that category. For example, in Battlestar Galactica: The Board Game the rules dictate how cylon ships move.

That's great! Thanks everyone!

I'm looking more for group group games, and there were lots of good suggestions (can't believe I didn't think of some of them; I've played Zombicide and the D&D games).

Sentinels of the Multiverse does it (so far) uniquely in that a deck provides variation in enemy activity.

Kingdom Death: Monster isn't out yet, but purports to have AI decks for monsters too.

The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game does this very well. And each of the expansion provides a new (to some extent) deck to play against.

There are gamer-made solo variants for non-solo games too that might have mechanisms for Game-controlled enemies; so you may have some games already you can play this way. See this geeklist for them: Non-solitaire games that have solo rules in BGG
