First Question

Can a runner target unrezed ICE with cards like Tinkering?

Tinkering says the ICE gains the types Sentry, code gate and barrier. What if it is a trap?

If yes, are there any instances where a runner cannot target unrezed ICE?

Second Question

Does Crypsis break trap ICE?

It now has 4 types (barrier, sentry, code gate and trap)

The only time you cannot target unrezzed ice is if the card specifically says so. In the case of Tinkering, unrezzed ice is a legal target.

As for Crypsis, it breaks subroutines on any kind of ice, including trap ice.

Yes,

And SonnyDK, you will note that both of those cards -- as well as any other cards that can only target a rezzed piece of ice -- specifically refer to "a rezzed piece of ice."
