Quick question:

I can get the deluxe edition but the box is all in German. Are the English rules and components inside? This is at an English speaking store in Canada.

I don't know if they put an english rules book in the export games, but even if not, the rules are downloadable for free on the homepage and also here on BGG.

The game itself is language independent - just cards with numbers on it and horses.
Except for the overview/palyer aid cards, which contain 1 or 2 German words.

By the way, if you saw it in a shop, does teh shop-owner not know?

I decided I was interested in it AFTER I got home. The shop employee probably could have helped, I just wasn't sure as I saw the price ($105)

I know that's not exactly cheap - but it's that not much cheaper even here in Germany (about 90$).

Got mine from

I believe I bought their last delux set.
It should be restocked in 6 weeks, maybe faster if you contact them and let them know you are interested.

Just a heads-up:

Somewhere I heard the standard edition is out of print. I went back to the store in Regina, Canada (comic book readers I believe, it has two locations) and picked up the deluxe. They still have a deluxe ($105) AND two standard editions ($39.99). They also have the second track expansion for $30.

If you look them up maybe they would ship to you (if in Canada or the States) and just charge you the FedEx or UPS rate. Some stores are open to it (especially since he said he's had them for quite a while).

It is called Comic Reader. I saw it last week at the store that is NOT the downtown store (not on 11th).

Good luck!

I tried to find a web site (Comic Reader) for that store, but it was not very helpful. Basically told me to look them up on facebook.

It will be back at Timewellspentgames.com in about a month or so according to the email I received. I am checking every day so I dont miss out.

So none of you guys buy them out. I really want a copy.

OT: How is Sioux Falls? My parents grew up in Mitchell and I drove through Sioux Falls every summer with the occasional stop at the big golf warehouse. Cant think of the name now.

Small world! Where are you at now?

Sioux Falls is nice. How long ago were you in Mitchell? Not sure how much has changed, but we are about 160,000 people in the city, 210,000 in the immediate area. I moved to outside Chicago for 5 years after college, but moved back. Good place to raise a family.

The golf store might be Austad's. My brother Pat worked for them for a while.

Edit: now i just HAVE to friend you.

Outside of St. Louis.
Last time I visited was a long time ago. Been trying to plan a trip to South Dakota with my family. Show them Mitchell and head over to the Black Hills area.
My Grandparents lived in Mitchell for 70-80 years. We ran all over that town when I was a kid. That was our vacation. Spend a week or 2 with Grandma and Grandpa. Good memories. One set of grandparents had a cabin on Enemy Swim lake. Spent a lot of time there, also.
And Austads is it.

EDIT: I see you are an English teacher. How is it in South Dakota?
I teach P.E. here.
We have a great retirement plan that makes up for our low wages.
