In keeping with my OTHER thread, I'm compiling a list of the stereotypical victims/nemesis of these monsters. (Quite often the victims of one type of the monster can be the vanquisher of another type)

So far I have:

Military
Clergy
Hot-rodding teenagers
Simple Folk (rednecks, hillbillies)
Scientists
Young innocent children
Stray pets
Paranormal researchers
Screaming Blondes
Surfers

There ya go, what else ya'll got?

* Good monsters (e.g. when Godzilla and the other Earth monsters fight King Ghidrah at the conclusion of 1968's classic, "Destroy All Monsters")

* Germs, Bacteria (e.g. War of the Worlds)

Monsters in their 50s and 60s really start to slow down. By the time they are in their 70s they are easily foiled by meddling kids.
