In some rules 'All Types' is not recognized when the hand is 'Seven Pairs.' (like WMPA rules.) Are there any good(or specific) reason not calculating 'All Types' on 'Seven Pairs?'

cf. I'm very sorry (to BGG) for uploading that 'Junk' file.

One reason not to include All Types with Seven Pairs is that it's much easier to get pairs of honor tiles than triplets. You need at least one honor triplet and one honor pair for All Types.

In Seven Pairs, any pair is just as easy to get as any other.

"Patterns" are primarily for rewarding the beauty (consistency) of the hand.

The original Chinese name of the pattern is "Five Suits". Because a regular hand has five sets/pair, it is considered a beautiful pattern to have each set/pair belong to a different suit. Thus, according to its justification (the reason for the existence of the pattern, namely its beauty), it should only be applicable to a regular hand with five sets/pair, and not to a Seven Pairs irregular hand nor in Taiwanese mahjong (where a regular hand is five sets plus a pair).
