Our gaming group had our first session of World of Warcraft. It started off slowing going with the learning curve but after we understood the basics the game moved rather rapidly, mechanics wise - but some of the negotiating the next move with fellow faction team members sometimes took awhile.
The game ended with a PvP battle royal, because we had expired the turn track. Neither faction even took a crack at the overlord (Lord Kazzak - the elusive overlord). My faction was the Alliance, and even though we didn't attempt a strike against the overlord we did however know the location of Lord Kazzak.
Hunter - ended as level 4
Druid - ended as level 3
Paladin - ended as level 3
Warrior - ended as level 3
Priest - ended as level 3
Mage - ended as level 3
The first PVP battle round the Alliance dished out a ton of damage leaving the Horde with 1 health left per player. The Hoard dealt significant damage as well only for the Alliance players to regenerate health prior to the next battle round.
Second battle round the Horde dealt minimal damage of 6 health and the Alliace dealt enough to crush the Horde.
Game length was about 5 hours due mainly to learning the game as no one in the group had played the boardgame yet.
One suggestion we had for our next game was that we should have venture off individually a little more to gain more experiance as most of our encounters with the quest monsters were as groups thus having to split the rewards.
All in all great game and well worth another go around.
