Seems the forums I have set to show on my front page are not there this morning. I can't believe no one is posting.

That was on my computer at home...here at work I get this:

Try clearing your browser's cache. Helped another user...

Purged cache and forced refresh in Internet Explorer 10.0.9200.16635
Still broken and incomplete front page. No ability to modify modules/format.

Looks great in Firefox 22.0, even after purge and forced refresh.

+1

Can see the forums on the front page when using Chrome but not IE10. Same issue on the Wargames subdomain page too.
Repeatedly clearing the cache and refreshing the page have not changed anything as yet.

I am seeing the same thing. Also is effecting individual Game pages such as Dead Panic and Carnival. My work computer (Shhh!) is using IE7 and I normally don't have any problems viewing BGG.

I'm unable to reproduce this bug in IE 10. Does any of the other javascript work (e.g., paging modules, the menus, etc)?

I'm seeing everything but a number of the forum modules briefly (barely enough time to get a picture) show 'updating' before appearing on the front page. I've not seen this before.

Earlier on in the day I was missing one of the admin modules despite being logged in. It's back now.

I've also seen a user who's pending item didn't show up in their pending queue. Their item went all the way through geekmod.

Safari 6.0.4

I'm seeing this as well, across multiple browsers.

I'm getting this too in IE8.

Worked fine yesterday, but today every page loads very slowly, and Windows keeps giving me a message that says something like: "A scipt on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly, and may cause your computer to become unresponsive." Then it asks if I want to continue running it.

When the page finally loads some of the forums are missing.

If you have compatibility view on, can you try turning it off? I think that might be the issue.

I'm using FF 22.0

I have a slower DSL connection. I see sections of front page load with "Updating ..." across the blue section bars. "Updating ..." disappears, then the section pops in the page. In the end all the various sections do load.

Curious Daniel, how many different browsers and how many versions of those have been used in the last day say?

I'll bet it is dozens. There is just no way you could test them all.

I tried http://browsershots.org/ to see rending of multiple browsers, but bgg blocks it via robots.txt. There is a way described there to enable specifically browsershots to work in the robots.txt file.

Daniel, I have compatibility mode OFF and I get the above symptoms. When I turn it ON, the site loads much faster and doesn't prompt me about a script running. But, some of the forums are missing still.

The amount of on-screen gibberish (enclosed in curly brackets) is higher with CM off also.

I am as well, on a very fast work connection. I'm seeing the "updating" notice for a few seconds when I go to the homepage.

Time to upgrade! IE7 came out in 2006.

I know but it's a work computer and they haven't pushed an upgrade. Normally I don't have an issue viewing BGG with it.

Still not working for me either: IE8, circa 2009. (And unchangeable for the same reasons as previous poster.)

But like I said, it worked fine yesterday, and in fact every day up until now.
