Well I finally got all my interceptors in and decided to test convert one since the lambda is coming out soon.

So I bring you Emperor Palpatine's first escort fighter.

I repainted an original tie interceptor and custom built the fins with plasti-card. That was the hardest part of the conversion. Luckily while I was winging it (this was my first repaint/conversion) I made a template to make the auxiliary wings. =)

Very nice work! The fins, especially, look fantastic--as if they were a part of the original model.

Now, I'm hoping we get an official Royal Guard Interceptor variant in the future.
