If anyone is looking for storage solutions for C&C blocks and tiles I'd like to suggest "Really Useful hobby trays"

http://www.reallyusefulproducts.co.uk/uk/html/onlineshop/rub....

These plastic trays divided into 15 compartments and stack inside a number (but not all) of the RU storage boxes. The boxes can then be stacked on top of each other in a fairly stable way. Each compartment can hold about 27 infantry size blocks or correspondingly less of the other size blocks. Thus they can be used to separate individual troop types without wasting too much storage space. Additionally they are an ideal size for the terrain pieces, which ATM is my primary use for them as I have an on-going project to create a 3D board using MDF hexes of varying thicknesses attached to a magnetic board.

When the trays are stacked inside the boxes the lid can be closed and the contents are held securely in place for storage or transport. Unfortunately the compartments are too small for storing the cards and boards, but the boxes are quite adaptable and it might be possible to arrange something by holding smaller boxes inside larger ones.

I hope this suggestion might prove useful to others. The trays and boxes can be quite expensive but are of good quality and bargains can be had by shopping around. For example Hobbycraft in the UK currently has a 3 for 2 offer on all "Really Useful" products.

I use Plano boxes. The nice thing is that they have moveable dividers so you can use as much room as you need for that class of troop. They also make a 1374 unit that stores 4 trays, which has a latching top for storing the boards, cards, rules, etc.

The 0.3 litre Really Useful boxes are an ideal fit for the card deck and the 0.9 litre pencil Box is perfect for terrain tiles. I use them for all my C&C collections - blocks, cards, figures and terrain.

Highly recommended.

I've got my stuff in a very large Plano with six trays that open up. It rocks and makes setup and tear down quick and easy. I've got room for two cca epic maps, a ccn map, double epic deck, standard deck, and all scenario material and player aid cards.

In one lift, I've got it all.
