In the weekend I played:

Ticket to Ride Map Collection: Volume 1 – Team Asia & Legendary Asia - A six-player game: it was an easy ride for me and my teammate, we won with 181 points. Simply by adding our nine tickets' values we scored 100 points.

Twilight Struggle - We fought hard to win but in the end my opponent with the USSR won in the seventh turn's headline: he scored Asia, which I had neglected in the previous turn in order to succed in getting a foot in Middle East's door, whence I was previously driven out and found it very difficult to come back.

Shadow Hunters - Two seven-player games: they were short, deadly and fun as usual.

Had a very busy non-gaming weekend, but managed to squeak in a game of Formula D. I lost by a dozen or so spaces and couldn't get out of 4th gear. Some pretty poor choices on my part. My wife tore up the track and nearly tore up her car, but she was victorious.

Slow Weekend. Only played Police Precinct. The game was okay with several typos. It was a fun game just learned rolling six as not as easy as it should be.

Our group had an all-day game day on Saturday. During the time I was there, I got to play:

Innovation (last of four players - no achievements for me this time)
Guildhall (three player, came in third, though with one more turn I would have won)
Two Rooms and a Boom (28 players - I was on the Blue team, and we successfully protected the President. My wife was the Bomber)
Legendary: A Marvel Deck Building Game (four players - we successfully defeated Kingpin, though had I pulled the other tactic card when I beat him the third time, we would have lost)
Ultimate Werewolf: Ultimate Edition (14 players. I was a Werewolf, and we won)

Then on Sunday, we played a shortened game of Bohnanza (one time through the deck). I won.

It was an eclectic Saturday of games for me. We played:

Attack of the Mutants!I was introduced to this old classic. It is a fun little game with lots of die rolling. I played the Mutants and managed the win.

The Republic of Rome- My first time playing this one and it fell a little flat for me. We got crushed and there probably wasn't anything we could have done to change it. Bad die rolls and unlucky card pulls were just too much to overcome.

Brass-This one is loved by others more then me, perhaps because I stink at it and still haven't figured out the strategies.

Race for the Galaxy- My second time playing this one. Games with very little interaction are not my favorite but this one might get better the more times it is played.

Lords of Scotland- The rules for this one are poorly written. Luckily there are very few so we managed to figure things out. I liked it more then the others and I think it will improve with more plays.

Went to a wedding. Where I was tempted to take skull and rosies. - But didn't bother in the end.

However, the following day, 4 of us, me, the wife, sister and her new boyfriend (2 of which never ever play games) played...

> Skull & Roses
> Bohnanza
> Hey That's my fish

They loved all of them. I think that the new boyfriend was pleasantly surprised about how good they were... - If they were going to stick around for another game... it would have possibly been stone age or ticket to ride.

Axis & Allies Global 1940.

The allies won because the German player left his capital undefended when it was in range of a UK transport. It was a good game, though.

Saturday game night:

Archipelago: didn't work in my group.
Eminent Domain: so good, that we played it two times.
Ark & Noah: nice little role selection game.
Las Vegas: our favorite dice roller at the moment.
Tichu: a classic dessert after a fine game night.

On Sunday, I played two games of Suburbia on the patio with my wife. A great 2-player game and because all components are sturdy cardboard, you can play it outside even if it is a little windy!

Horse Sense x1 - Close finish thanks to some lucky guessing on my part. My 5 year old daughter is on her second year of horse back riding so handles this trivia game with ease.

Sentinels of the Multiverse x3 - Just bought the Enhanced Edition on Wednesday and I'm in love. So much fun.

Mermaid Beach x12 - Daughter held her own, we finished 6-6.

On Friday Ticket to Ride with my parents. HAD to play, they're a bit addicted to TtR.

On Saturday I bought King of Tokyo, that night we played it with 3 and loved it! Played from 10:30pm until 02:00am. Each one of us had 2 wins, nice end result.

On Sunday our group was complete (5) so I brought out KoT again, after a short explanation we started a bit uncomfortably, lots of questions from the 'newcomers'. We ended up playing 4 games and still liked it.

KoT is definitely gonna stay in our roulation of games!
