Contre nous de la tyrannie, l’étendard sanglant est levé
Actually, it's not an "app" per se, more a module for one, i.e. for the Adventure Game Studio app for mobile devices. (AGS is an engine for homebrew point & click adventure games à la old Sierra and Lucasart titles.)
When I saw that there was an Android port of the AGS player available I wanted to try and repurpose this gaming engine to build a little helper programme for my phone. The "little" grew into a week long undertaking for clueless Schimmerlos (zero programming experience and the syllogistic part of my brain not that well developed didn't help much - no, you don't want to look at my "code"!), but with the help of the invaluable AGS manuals and tutorials I finally managed to pull it off.
So if you want to reduce the amount of table look-ups and the dicing load in Chain Reaction, give the app a try, here:
1) Get the Adventure Game Studio port for Android/iOS/PSP from here: http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/site/ags/
(as of July 2013)
2) Install the AGS app.
3) Create an "ags" folder in the SD card's root directory.
4) Place the contents of the zip archive into the "ags" folder.
