Just a detail : on the second picture, you say that each game is one encounter.
It actually is one quest, which can consist in one or two encounters (each one lasting about 30 minutes).

While we're nitpicking, there are other ways to recover Fatigue, like Stamina Potions and some Hero Abilities/Heroic Feats.

Otherwise, this is fantastic.

Oh yes, I missed those out.

But more importantly, I missed out the rules for Large Monsters! How could I miss that? Sigh. I'm pretty held up now... When I have the chance, will probably add another page to explain how Mauler moves and how the heroes can attack it.

Sure. But first, I'll have to add at least a page on Large Monsters first. Hopefully I'll be able to find time soon.

To enter. Where does it say anything about taking 2 spaces to move around while in the water? I guess they mean to enter *another water space*, not water in general? I see now.

I'm going to print this thing out, I think we have pretty much got this game down now, we're at the finale.

Yes it gets a while to get used to the lingo used in the rulebook of Descent 2.0. When it says "entering a water space", it really mean entering that one single square.

Here's something for your thoughts:
When you "enter a space containing a pit", you receive 2 wounds. The only action you can perform is to climb out of the pit.

Question 1: What if the Overlord is able to move your hero to an adjacent pit space, when you're already in a pit?

Thematically, it's strange that you're already in a pit, how can you drop further and suffer 2 more wounds by going to an adjacent pit space? You think?

But I would follow the exact wordings of the rule, since you are entering a (new) pit space. Your hero suffers additional 2 wounds. Strange, isn't it?

Question 2: What if while you're in the pit, you are immobilized? Can you still climb out?

Again, thematically, it follows that your "immobilized" hero should stay in that space.

But following the exact wordings of the Immobilized condition, it only says "move actions" and "movement points". It is never mentioned that the "climb" special action is a move or movement related action. So I would rule that the "immobilized" hero somehow is able to will himself out of the pit. Hehe.

A quite BGG formatting note, the IMG tag is primarily for external images, the ImageID tag is for internal BGG images. For example, here's your comics listed using BGG's ImageID tag:

Note I also used the 'small' and 'inline' tags to get the above formatting. QuickQuote my post to see how it's done.

Oh and since it was requested, I made a PDF of the comic with the 'original' images uploaded to BGG and OCR'ed it (hope you don't mind, maxixe). If anyone wants a copy, send me a GeekMail with an email address and I'll forward it along.

Opps, realised I missed out the action symbol on page 14. Will update it this weekend.

Sorry!

Brilliant job. Amazing investment! Marked as one of my 'best of' reviews in BGG.
Actually this is a great primer for 'DMs' considering purchasing the game for their group.

Page 14, bottom left:
replace "means you can use 1 action to perform the ability"
to "means that you must use 1 action to perform the ability"

Page 16 - Expansion of a large monster occurs when a) it's activation is over b) declaring second action. Therefore movement allows to "expand" the monster, when declaring a second move action. In the case of a dragon it gives him additional 2 spaces! Its important enough to make a note.
See Unofficial Faq, section "Large monster movement".

The Reach example on page 6 looks wrong to me - wouldn't the hero need to be ON the space labeled "2" to be in range for a Reach attack? The current image shows the hero as 3 spaces away, not in range for a Reach attack that targets a figure 2 spaces away.

yep, reach is wrong (as I understand the rules, base set, page 13):
"The Reach keyword allows the figure to use a Melee attack to target a figure up to two spaces away, rather than only adjacent spaces."

The text is correct. "any two spaces away" but the goblin is three spaces away - same as movement. But ADD: Reach still needs LOS.

otherwise: great work!

Are we looking at the same image? In image 6 an ettin is trying to attack a hero with reach. Yeah there are goblins three spaces away but the ettin isn't trying to attack them (he isn't normally allowed to attack other monsters anyway). There in fact is a hero on the space labeled 2 (a grey figure) and that is whom the ettin is attacking. As far as I can tell, the image is correct.
