Title says it. Anyone who has played this. How is the two-player gameplay? My wife tends to like economic games and I'm always looking for more games my wife will play.

I have the Ludo Art version of this game, but I believe there is little or no change in the game mechanics between this and the new FFG version.

It works fine as a two player game although I would say the sweet spot is probably 3 or 4 players when the game become really testing.

Notwithstanding this, if you wife enjoys economic games then I think she will greatly appreciate this one. The supply/production mechanism and logical shifts in the resource markets make this a truly excellent game which may, with the involvement of FFG, now gain the wider recognition it richly deserves.

I'm glad to know that this game will work alright with 2 people since I tend to play games more with just 2 people than with more.

Just picked it up and wow, the bag of plastic I pulled out of the box feels so nice and heavy. Components here are awesome!

I just played my first game with 2 players and it was really good. I think there is a lot of positives in the 2 player and would play it again that way, but I can imagine that with 3 or 4, it really shines. 5 is probably a very long game if people don't all have experience with it.

It is such a great game though! You should definitely pick it up.
