This looks a LOT like a game I designed 12 years ago. gulp I want it!

Will there be an English edition?

I didn't see any KS campaign but I saw that the game will be available in Essen this year.
Will that be the english or Russian version you will sell there? What is the final price? any goodies / preorder bonus?

I would prefer Russian version, because original labels have flavor and sounds much more natural than translation. Timofey, you would be surprised, but I'm pretty sure that in the West original version could be even more successful than English. That's because game would attract attention of Russians or people who know this language.

And would detract anyone who doesn't know Russian, yet is remotely interested.
I'm sorry, but I haven't heard more ridiculous opinion in a while. I hope no publisher ever agrees with you.

you misunderstood something. I mean both versions should be available in western countries especially in big online shops. This is a special situation with Desktopia. And there is contrary situation with other game. For example it was absolutely stupid to publish Race for the Galaxy: Alien Artifacts in Polish language.

Firstly, Alien Artifacts are not published in Polish.
Secondly, even if it were, it's not stupid, because certain people need localized editions, so they can write the box description in their native language, read the rules from the box in their native language and play with their family who doesn't speak English. So even games 100% language independent should be localized. As a proof, Ticket to Ride has a Polish language, sells like cookies, because it's available in Polish.

sure, AA was stopped because publisher realized how such idea was stupid. Of course they found excuse that game is broken ;-) Real RftG fan will never buy perverted translation from original English. Other story is popular family games like TtR, PR and etc. These cry for translation into local language
