Was looking up a game tonight and saw a picture that brought back some long lost memories.

See this picture?

Those little round, colored, wooden game pieces look really familiar to me but not from this game.

Can anyone think of a board game from the 60's or 70's that used pieces like that? Could be from earlier but I would have played it in the 70s as a kid. I just remember way back then that those pieces reminded me of egg coloring tablets.

They're pretty common today. Is there anything else you have to go on?

I don't really have anything else. At this point I don't remember anything about the game at all. Just the game pieces. I'm not sure how they were used in the game either. As movement pieces, currency, markers??

I imagine its a kids game. I played in the 70s as a kid between age 2 and 11.

I looked at that pic and thought "That's from a Queen game. The zeppelin-building one, or perhaps Lucky Loops". I don't recall seeing anything with similar tokens earlier than the 90s though.

I do think the pieces were darker but same colors.

Our copy of Parcheesi had wooden discs that looked a lot like Easter egg coloring tablets. Kind of like this.

We also had Booby-Trap with wooden discs like this.

Thanks for taking a shot!

I know its not the Booby Trap one but Parcheesi is always possible. I don't have any memory of Parcheesi game play or game board though.

Haha! Picture is from Lucky Loops

Do you know the name of the zeppelin game? I searched for Queen and didn't find anything.
