Sorry, clarification: printing.

Does anyone have any best practices or cool tips for how they do their print-on-demand scenarios/cards?

Rather than doing a regular print run they print them to order. It isn't a print and play thing.

I'm assuming you're meaning fan-made scenarios? Fantasy Flight's Print on Demand stuff gets sold in shops as normal

Whoops. Well, this is awkward.

[jedimindtrick ] Nothing to see here. Move along. [ /jedimindtrick ]

Edit: Maybe my awkwardness will spare some other unfortunate soul from this.

No worries, when I first heard of PoD several months ago (when looking into the 2 Gen Con decks) I thought, "why would I want to play with crappy cards that I print at home." After I researched further I was pleasantly surprised that was not what PoD means, the cards are almost the same quality as the ones printed overseas. Now I can't wait for the three nightmares!

Since the article had to clarify that print on demand is not the samething as print and play, and emphasize many times about them being printed 'professionally', I'd say you are not the first one to make that wrong assumption... if that helps with the 'awakwardness'.

Yeah, well, I felt the same about Massing at Osgiliath and Battle for Lake-town… so I bought them on eBay! :/

I wouldn't normally be the first person to yell 'foul play' but I'm afraid I can't resist here. Three separate decks? C'mon Fantasy Flight...

Note: this is not preventing me from ordering them! Also...3.60 for first class to England for all 3 decks. Okay, fine, ORDERED.

Hah, I have ordered quite a lot of stuff from America. I'm familiar with customs charges. Something like this shouldn't incur it but of course not worried if it does.

Most recent hit was Duel of Ages II Collector's Set. £42 worth of customs and fees there. Sigh.

Think you'll be okay with customs on this one - just below the £15 value threshold - at least I hope so as I've ordered them as well!

Oh my God there is a Nightmare version of Dol Guldur surprise
For the whipping the normal version's giving me, I think I'm going to keep my distance from that one.
