One game for me.
One game, I think, My wife will play with me.
And 2 games, I think ,I family will play with me.

The games:
Modern warfare: six days war: 1967
Go
Salmon Run
Dice Town

Should I push the button. Im having a bit of trouble getting my family involved in my hobby. Is this the way to go?

When you say "your family", who do you mean? Your kids? How old?

My wife likes mancala (?) so Im thinking she will like Go
Dice town seems like a game my family would be interested in. Not a lot of deep thinking. Random dice.
Salmon run, because it is a race game. And I almost KSed it and my girls seemed interested.

I would think Quarriors! would be a better choice for the family then Dicetown since I see you already have King of Tokyo. Also consider Survive: Escape from Atlantis! or Escape: The Curse of the Temple.

+1 for Survive and Escape

I would also bet Jamaica would be a fantastic fit for your family... pirates racing and fighting, with a nice simple mechanic mixing cards and dice. Unfortunately it's not at available at CSI ... 46 bucks on Amazon at the moment, but worth every penny.

Jamaica is on my wish list. At least in my mind. If not my list here. I wish it would go in broader circulation. I agree that it is a for sure buy.

+1 for Jamaica.

Bridge Troll.. our pre-teen daughter likes this one.

Dungeon Petz.. I have not played, but could be a good option but is a little meaty.

Cartagena 2. The Pirate's Nest.. Light and fun.

This go set?

(I played on a vinyl Go board for years -- I'm not a goban snob.)

That starter set looks pretty bad. If the stone dimensions really are 1/2" x 3/8" they're going to be little plastic balls rolling all over the place. Note that a normal board is closer to 17" x 18" than the 11" x 11" of that set.

You're basically buying a non-magnetic travel set, which is weird.

I personally think Go is an awfully big jump from Mancala.

If you want to find an abstract that your wife may enjoy, try one of these

Multiplayer Pentago (plays 2 to 4...CSI has this in stock)

Hive (pieces are insects and you try to surround your opponent's bee) 2 player only and CSI probably has several different versions in stock. I would suggest the pocket version myself. It has the colored pieces and all the expansion pieces included. Pocket Hive and Hive Carbon both include the expansion pieces. Hive Carbon has the larger pieces, but they are not in color.

I don't know salmon run, but Fast Flowing Forest Fellers is a good, fun family race game.

For a dice game, I think Las Vegas is better (more streamlined, easy access, quicker) than Dice Town.

Ingenious or the classic Carcassonne are good choice to play with wife and/or family.

If your wife likes Mancala, maybe you should take a peek at Trajan. It's a game built around the mancala mechanic. It's a great game. Your kids will grow into it in the next year or two.

Suddenly a shot rang out! A door slammed. The maid screamed. Suddenly a pirate ship appeared on the horizon! While millions of people were starving, the king lived in luxury. Meanwhile, on a small farm in Kansas, a boy was growing up.

Yes, drop Go if you're looking for a Mancala follow-up... and definitely that chintzy uber-tiny edition.

Trajan is a bit much, but Finca is a lovely non-gamer friendly game with more than a bit of Mancala feel.
