Thank you for listening to another Episode of Power to the Meeple. This week we preview two kickstarter projects, Elemental Clash, now live on KS. We also cover Vici, a great 2-player game, going live on kickstarter right before GenCon. Jeff will also be bringing Elemental Clash to Gencon. Tweet @not_jeff at the show to catch him for a demo.
At the end of the episode we review Cards Against Humanity, and we have included an extremely mature language live play of the game after the regular show. Rando Cardisian almost wins!
Aside from games that exist, we also discuss The Doom that Came to Atlantic City's failings. At the time of this recording, the game had not been bailed out as it has now. I (Jeff) sound pretty silly when I say it'll never be made! This topic leads into a larger discussion of kickstarter projects, good and bad, and of how buyers should be aware of who they are buying from as well as what they are buying into.
We also discuss how a few bad projects shouldn't ruin the community, as we point out many overly successful and wonderful projects that came from kickstarter, such as Pixel Lincoln.
And finally, our friends over at Brotherwise Games have graciously donated a copy of Boss Monster for us to give away to a listener.
