I have my inlaws coming over this weekend for some games.
On tap is Elasund, Mesopotamia, and my latest aquisition, Oltre Mare.
Does Oltre Mare have a sweet spot with regard to number of players?
There'll be four of us.
Four player Elasund will be a hoot.
Does anyone know if Rio Grande is planning to replace the cards that are gimped in Oltre Mare...namely the Olives and Grain payout mistake?

Thanks
Peter

I've played with 3, 4 and 5 and enjoyed every game.

With 5 you have a little more downtime, hence a little more "is it my turn?"...but overall it was fine.

I think it scales pretty well.

I don't believe that they will be updating the cards, I do believe though the game designer has addressed this issue on the Oltre Mare page on the geek. Matter of fact I know there was some discussion on this because I printed it out.

From what I read, it's no mistake, but a slight redesign.
