What if the fellowship sneaks into Mordor even as a Free People's army cracks the black gate and is marching on Barad Dur?

While there's a FP army in Gorgoroth and the fellowship is in Mordor the hunt tiles operate differently. Whenever the rules call for drawing a tile, draw two, and the FP chooses which one to take, with the other one thrown back into the cup.

Sauron, however, will get suspicious... In any game where there is no FP army in Gorgoroth, but once there was, a FSP in Mordor draws two tiles from the cup, and the SP chooses the tile to take effect, with the other one thrown back into the cup.

Interesting...the Last Battle taken to a whole new level.

Should there be any differenc between 1 lone regular touring mordor and a 'real' army? Probably not, too much fiddlyness.

The lone regular is a lot easier to kill than a gandalf-led super-stack!

That's why in my revised rules I've added Sauron to the game. sauron
He can only enter if a Mordor stronghold falls under siege, and adds super leadership to a shadow army. It also, however, allows the Ringbearers to ignore "stop" symbols on hunt dice.
The idea is that as the FP army enters Mordor the big S finally reassumes physical form to lead his troops one last time. He still thinks Aragorn has the Ring, so it helps to take his attention of Frodo.
