Bang! is also another popular game among this group. First a quick run through of the roles, characters and cards to those new to this game - Mun Loong and Neoh. Then we quickly assigned roles - Sheriff (Lai Wah), Deputies (Alan and Jeff), Renegade (Mun Loong), Outlaws (Wai Yan, Jamie and Neoh).
Disaster struck the good guys almost immediately as Deputy Alan was gunned down very quickly by the outlaws who claimed innocence by saying that they thought he was a renegade. And truth by told, he was acting a little suspiciously too. Even Deputy Jeff fired a shot at him though it was not the killing shot.
At this juncture, we were interrupted as the FBIs sorry I mean the security officers of Times Square came around and asked us to pack, claiming they need to close the complex. We checked our watch and oops, it's already 12.30am. No wonder. So we kindly obliged but we kept our own Bang! cards to continue the game somewhere else.
Well, it's 12.30am and where else could we go and game? My office is a possible venue but since we were in the Pudu area we decided to park ourselves at our regular Mamak stall which operates 24-hour. Oh-we... designer gaming at local mamak, this must be a first!
In less than 20 min time, we were well-seated at our mamak stall, ordered our "milo bing kau kau" and continued where we left out i.e. saying our condolences to Deputy Alan. Dust to dust, ashes to ashes......
Bang.. the firing resumes. The Sheriff was sitting on the fence and not wanting to get involved.... this prompted the outlaws to start getting more aggressive. Well, they would, wouldn't they when they find the Sheriff not hard-hitting enough. After taking out the Renegade (Mun Loong in his first game of Bang!) the outlaws then gang up and advance towards the Sheriff's office.
Deputy Jeff tried to stop them but was gunned down mercilessly by the the two ladies and one man but not before he critically wounded Outlaw Wai Yan. The Sheriff - having lost both her deputies - now decided to retaliate (could it be a little too late?) She first finished off the wounded Outlaw Wai Yan and then has to take on both Outlaw Neoh and Jamie.
A fierce gunfight ensured at Mamak Corral (re Tombstone - Gunfight at OK Corral), bullets were smashing into flesh and bones. Outlaw Jamie was gunned down leaving both Sheriff Lai Wah and Outlaw Neoh facing each other. Both were badly wounded... there's no turning back, the fight has to end here.. now.
Both drew and empty their pistols into each other....... and in the end, the Sheriff survived (barely).
