I'd love to hire it done, but guess that wouldn't be kosher with DoW maybe. I'd be more likely to buy the program with if I had a hard copy...just to feel better about the copyright infringement. : )

Re: Anyone here tried to make a homebrew version of Switzerl
Well, that's useful Hakko! Thanks!

Has anyone printed it? I have only a dirt cheap inkjet printer. Would anyone want to make me a nice copy for a nominal fee? (Just for the work, of course! Oh, and postage...)

Or maybe Kinko's could do it. Do they do such things? I guess they might have a problem with it if they figured it's copyrighted.

I was more interested in the one that Alan Moon designed for the PC because (if I remember correctly) in a radio interview he said it was his favorite map and it was made for 2 or 3 players. I think it would be fun for my wife and me.

Rule differences for Switzerland?
Are there any rule differences for playing with the Switzerland map?

Oops. I just presumed that the posted one here was that one. I haven't seen the published one yet. I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I could buy a hard copy of the Swiss map too.

It would also be nice to be able to buy the Europe map as an expansion to the original game, etc... but Days of Wonder has been taking advantage of the popularity of the game to only sell complete brand new games

Well, maybe they'll at least sell Switzerland and a carrying case, much the same way they're doing for Memoir '44. It could store all 4 maps, enough trains, and all the version specific extras. Even if they do sell them seperatately, I still don't need to carry 3 or more boxes for one game.
