I have tried three times now to post a brief announcement to the trading forum about an "ultimate trade" geeklist I have started and each time after I click "submit" I'm told it has been posted but it does not appear in the forum ??

I know I can post since one other question I posted in that forum appears. The only difference I can see is that my lost messages included a link/url to point readers to the geeklist.

When I access my profile it shows 4 forum posts !

When I click on that "4" it shows only the one with the question - not the other three.

Any thoughts ?

Daryl

p.s. assuming this one posts ?!

To help me track down this bug, can you post the steps you took to reproduce this?

Sure, thanks for your help...

Windows XP, browser = Firefox
0. Had 2 or 3 BGG windows open in Firefox tabs

1. went to trades forum
2. selected "new thread"
3. entered title/subject "Ultimate Trade Elfenland (want Ticket to Ride)
4. entered brief notice of trade in the msg text entry box
5. cut/copied url of my geeklist from Firefox address bar
6. pasted url into msg textbox

www.boardgamegeek.com/geeklist.php3?action=view&listid=13642

7. Selected "preview" which showed a preview with my avatar, etc...
8. selected "submit", received reply viz message posted.

after that once I clicked the option to retutn to the forum and did not see my message. assumed there was a lag but it never showed up. next time I selected the option to view mymessage and it showed but, again, never on the forum.

Tried this 3 times. Could it be the url included in the message?, firefox?

If you check my profile you will see the mysterious listing of 5 forum threads (6 after this one I assume) but if you select the option to list them, "all dates" you will see only two (now three).
