Stan and Pak Hoe had to take their leave as Stan has an early long distance trip to make tomorrow. This leaves 10 of us and someone proposed for a 10 player game of 6 Takes!
We play to 75 bull-heads which means the game does not end in one round but instead we kept going until one person has scored 75 bull-heads or more. The game then ends and the winner is the player with the least bull-head.
This is the first time we are playing 6 Takes! with 10 players (the maximum allowed for). All the cards will be distributed, 10 to each player and 4 as the starting card for the 4 facedown rows.
In a 10-player game, it's very common for the 4 rows to be filled with 4 or 5 cards which meant on the next turn, someone will have to take the face-up bull-heads. This made the game more tense. Mohd Hadi commented he quite enjoyed this light card game.
The game ended in just three rounds since Jeff seemed to be taking in all the bull-heads in large quantity!! LOL. He already had 69 bull-heads by end of round 2 (the game-end threshold was just 75). Wai Yan and Wai Keen were the two lowest player at end of round 2 having just 9 and 10 bull-heads respectively. So in round 3, they were just competing with each other not to take any more bull-heads in order to emerge as the winner.
What they forget was that Mohd Hadi was not doing too badly with 21 but he managed not to get any more bull-heads in round 3 whereas Wai Yan and Wai Keen took quite a substantial amount of bull-heads. This helped Mohd Hadi win the game with just 21 bull-heads. Wai Keen came in 2nd.
