Hi Harry,

Has the following been answered yet?

When the Mongols maneuver and attack several areas of an empire 1 level more advanced than they are, how many points do they score?
--> just the one, as the empire under attack is no longer more advanced after the first of the battles is completed, or
--> as many as the number of areas liberated, as the lowering of the progress only occurs after all battles have been completed?

Hi,

Just to complicate matters, in the case of the Mongols and their 2 starting manoeuvres, there are actually 3 reasonable possibilities for when the progress gets lowered:

1) At the end of the first battle.
2) At the end of their first free manoeuvre.
3) At the end of their start empire action (i.e. the end of the second free manoeuvre).

Well, yes, we find that limits the scoring potential for the Mongols a lot, probably too much. In a current cyberboard game we decided to take (2). Maybe something for a new version of the rules? You didn't find this a problem in your games?
