I am not sure if this has been mentioned before so if it has my apologies up front.

I was wondering if anyone has ever thought of taking the BGG format and creating a new site/mirror site to record/discuss/track RPG's? Or for that matter, I was wondering if maybe Aldie and crew have ever thought about selling the format to help other hobbies? I can't say I have ever seen a site like this for Remote Controlled Cars/Model Trains/Basket Weaving/whatever... They might have a potential gold mine on their hands!!!

Maybe there is already a good site that tracks RPG's. I would, however, love to be able to catalogue my RPG inventory online.

Take care everyone,
Michael

I think this is something that Aldie has hinted at in the past.

Sorry for the confusion Michael, that was sort of the point. It was kind of a joke, but also to point out that Aldie has already registered www.rpggeek.com, so he probably has plans to use it at some point.

Would be nice too, often have conversations with my RPG group about using other RPG systems, or features thereof, having some idea what they are tallking about would help.

Of course there are those who dislike RPGs, just like some dislike wargames/eurogames/CCGs...
