I can bookmark/favourite forum posts and geeklists and I can subscribe to pretty much anything. But I can't figure out how to maintain a list of file pages that I like or want to remember (so I can point other people to them in forum posts for instance). I've started a private GL for the purposes, is there a better way? Have I missed something?

That's what the Quickbar at the top of the page is for.

If you subscribe to files, you'll have a handy list of them at http://www.boardgamegeek.com/subscriptions/manage/feeds/file...

Thing is, I don't necessarily want to subscribe to a file just to pseudo-bookmark it when I don't do that for anything else. I prefer a single "process". But as a workaround I suppose I could subscribe then prevent subscription updates for comments. Thanks for the tip.

Why not use tags? This is exactly what tags are designed for.

For example, to keep track of discussions of the artistic aspects of games, I use:

Hmmmm... interesting suggestion. I've not used the tags feature at all (except in my inbox) I need to understand it better before I start, but there's some potential. I fear I might get bogged down in designing a taxonomy and naming convention, but I'll gove it a go. Thanks
