Please make suggestions, criticisms and observations, especially if you get a chance to play test this scheme.

"The Infinity Gauntlet" is for advanced players and designed to be extremely difficult and challenging. Here are the details:

============================================================
"THE INFINITY GAUNTLET"

STORY: The Mastermind has received the dreaded Infinity Gauntlet making him the most powerful being in all the universe. Can the heroes unite to defeat this evil before he can destroy everything?

SETUP: 11 Twists. 9 Go in the villain deck & 2 get shuffled in with the Mastermind Tactic cards. Deadpool required.

SPECIAL RULES: All bystanders are captured by the Mastermind.

Each time a Master Strike card is played place it next to the Mastermind who gets +1 attack for each Master Strike card next to it.

If any wounds get into HQ (see twist #5) play new heroes on top of those wounds. These heroes cost +2 to recruit and KO the wound after recruiting them.

SCHEME TWISTS:

TWIST 1: TIME: The previous player must return all cards they gained on their last turn. Undo any effects of those cards.

TWIST 2: MIND: On this player's turn, heroes cannot use powers or abilities (recruit and attack is allowed).

Twist 3: POWER: Play this twist as a Master Strike per rules above.

Twist 4: SOUL: Each player gains 1 wound every turn for the next number of turns equal to the highest cost hero in HQ.

Twist 5: REALITY: The current player discards or draws cards until they have 5 cards in their hand. Then they swap their entire hand with all the current heroes in HQ.

Twist 6: SPACE: Each player chooses two cards from their hand and passes them to the player on their left.

Twist 7: SACRIFICE: Choose one: Get +1 attack for every hero you KO from your hand and discard pile OR get +1 recruit for every bystander you KO from your victory pile.

Twist 8: DEATH: Each player must reveal Deadpool or KO three heroes from their hand. The current player gets +3 attack for every Deadpool they reveal.

Twist 9: DEFENSE: The Mastermind has -2 attack on this turn.

Twist 10: RESSURECTION: Each player may take a hero from the KO pile and put it in their hand.

Twist 11: FINALE: Evil wins!

Very cool idea, I like the idea of different MM's getting their shot with the glove, similar to HeroClix mechanics with the Gauntlet, Bat Belt, etc.

Questions:

1) For the Reality gem (Twist 5), what do you do with Wounds? Those would just become dead spaces in HQ since you can't KO them with stuff that KO's HQ Heroes, right?

2) Why Deadpool???

What you seek is included in the "Special Rules" where it states: "If any wounds get into HQ (see twist #5) play new heroes on top of those wounds. These heroes cost +2 to recruit and KO the wound after recruiting them."

This is based upon the fact that Thanos was the original wielder of the Infinity Gauntlet and he cursed Deadpool with Immortality to prevent him from becoming romantically involved with Death whom Thanos loved too. ( http://www.comicvine.com/deadpool/4005-7606/forums/whats-the... ) So Deadpool seemed the logical choice.

Ohhhh, the rules. Who has time for those?! laugh

I figured that was the DP angle you were working, but I thought there might be something else in his now-oversaturated history that I didn't know about yet. I can maybe live with that.

.... but an Infinity Gauntlet expansion would be pretty neat.... get a Cosmic team affiliation going.... start working on those homemades!
