Subject: Why weren't the platters double-sided? rss

Considering this games propensity towards more, more, more... why are the platters not double sided? Maybe some of them blank for user designs?

Not complaining, just wondering.

Among other reasons, because they aren't symmetrical and so if you flip some of them over they don't fit together.

Another reason would be that the two maps sharing the same platter could never be used together.

If they were double-sided then you couldn't set the platters up showing all the fancy artwork on the back when you're not playing.
