Finally got my copy of Cuba Libre yesterday and ran through the tutorial right away. A few things seemed strange to me, so I wanted to check if they were errors in the play book or if I just missed something.

In the play book on page 16 left column last paragraph it says that in order to get a base you must first have three cubes (for government).

No matter how much I look in the rulebook I only find under Train that I can replace two cubes with one base. So am I missing something or is the "three" a typo?.

Also there is what I believe a miss that chains in the tutorial. In the propaganda phase all casinos are reopened. After this on page 9 26 July kidnap in La Habana, but it is not mentioned that the casino should be closed, which I first thought was just since we should know the procedure now it did not need to be mentioned. But then in page 13 when the Syndicate opens another casino it says to set open casinos to 4, which in this case should be 3, unless I again missed something (very possible, all though I tried to go through everything to see if I did miss anything).

Another one Is in the same place as casinos to 4, set active support to 15 should be 16 no? Government has active support in all three cities after the event which should be 16. And when 26 July switches Santiago de Cuba back to active opposition, Govt support should go down to 14 again and not 13.

Finally on page 13 left column under the illustration it says DR pop+bases to 5 which should be 6 I think. DR has controle over Matanzas (1), Camag├╝ey (1), Oriente (2) and has bases in Las Villas and Oriente = Total 6. Or does Oriente only count once since it has a base and therefore population is not counted, or vice versa?

Sorry if this seems nit picky, I really just want to understand if there are things that I am missing, and if there are typos it might help others if it gets errataed.

I have been looking forward to this game for a long time and I am even more eager to really get to play it now after playing through the tutorial, can't wait. I will probably move up to the bigger games in the series once I get used to CL and I have a couple of people who also are warmed up to COIN.

Great work everyone involved, thank you

Obviously Toppen's fault. He should have known that we'd change the rules for Cuba Libre when he wrote that for Andean Abyss.

Editing fail.

I believe you are correct again!

Looks like another editing fail.
