Hi all,

I am not sure if I want to keep SH. Have it for a long time now and seldom play it. To give it a last chance: Which mission would you recommend? No matter if in the box or custom...

Thanks!

If you sell it, 6 months from now you're going to kick yourself...

Having said that, I still really like Suicide Mission (#1).

It's only going to go up in value. Never let it go!

Mmmh - actually, the value increased a lot already. Currently it sells for 150 Euro, I bought it for hundred. You really think its value will increase further?

Anyway, I played mission 1 often already (normally with my wife). I also payed some other missions, but they all left left me with a so-so feeling...

Did you play with the turn timer?

I really like the third scenario. The one where the SM player needs to escort the little robot to the exit. If you don't like that one when played with the turn timer, then this game probably isn't for you. Might as well sell it and get into the hands of someone who would appreciate it.

Mission 3 I have also played. Do not get me wrong: I like the game. But just not to an extent where I want to play regularly (i.e. more than once or twice a year).

Ok, I'll see what I do... maybe give mission 3 another try...

I really enjoy mission 1 and mission 3.

Mission 1 is really brutal for the space marine player if the genestealer player is experienced.

Mission 3 has a great balance and usually results in a great nail-biting ending. I really enjoy the fact that there are two squads starting from separate locations and that need to work their ways towards one another in a coordinated fashion to relay the CAT to the finish point. Great stuff!

I hope that you change your mind and keep the game--I play it infrequently as I have very little free time between career and my young son, but just love it when I do have the time to play.

If you are tired of basic missions, you can find a lot of custom missions on the net (even here: http://boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/46401/the-unofficial-space...)

You can play it on a campaign style too. (ex: http://spacehulkmissions.blogspot.fr/p/space-hulk-ark-of-dus...)

I've heard about an extension book about custom campaign for the previous edition, maybe it is still playable too.

There are a lot of stuff which can be found, including really hard missions covering multiple levels, teleportation, new stuff, etc.

Take a look on google and maybe it will give you some hint to discover this good game again.

Hi guys,

I actually played again now. While I am still not convinced that it is a great game (something lacks for me), it might still be the best miniature game out there till now. I like Earth Rebornn, but that is a beast and you cannot just pull it out and play.

So, with your help, I decided to keep it for now Thanks!
