I'm mostly a rebel player, but haven't had a chance to run the HWK yet, so I'll only comment on what I have experience with

With the B-wing's lousy 1 defense die, I don't think there's a whole lot you can do to improve it's defence. Ibtisam will be annoying to take down for the opponent, but the Dagger's would probably eat it really early since their entire defence relies on positioning.

I simply do not have the balls to run this squad. A single bad round of attacks and you are finished. The B-wing doesn't have the beefy hull or amazing dial that the Falcon does to allow this kind of shinaniganry.

Similar to the one right above it, but now you do have a tank in the form of Chewie. I'd still be wary of throwing so many points on such a flimsy vehicle, but with Ibit and the jammer/elusiveness/pilot craziness it might work.

I don't understand why'd you recommend taking Ibtisam with Ion Cannon and Proton Torps. Their point value is (7). Taking an HLC has the same cost and has you rolling four dice all the time. To me this is an either/or. You either take HLC or Proton Torps or Ion Cannon. And taking all those upgrades means you certainly won't be able to use them all before you are toast.

(Side note: Any chance for an upgrade card that allows you to expend two secondary weapons in a single turn?)

Ion cannon to set up adv torp shot. The list had 4 points left, not enough room for anything else, so I threw on the regular torp

Fcs + ptl meant you can seriously reposition, and gain target lock. So ion, get your lock, then reposition for range one advanced torps.
