I know that "Fettigator" refers to using Boba Fett w/ Navigator. There's lots of variations, but I'm looking for the baseline 100pt list for using it.I'm interested in the variations, too, but I'd like to know the 'default list,' per se.

By way of comparison, the baseline "Han Shoots First" is Han (with Chewie, Gunner, and either Marksmanship or Swarm tactics) and two rookie X-Wings. Other variations are derivatives thereof.

So, anyone care to recommend some Fettigator lists (or point me in a good direction?)

I played against a Fettigator list last night. He went 1-1, as I got really lucky with my missiles/torpedoes.

His squad was:

Boba Fett + Navigator + Expert Handling + Engine Upgrade
Dark Curse
Backstabber
Night Beast
*edit* 5 remaining points might have been spent on a Stealth Device on Dark Curse and Seismic Charges on Fett, but I don't remember.
*edit* I just remembered! He had an Autoblaster on Fett but only used it once (he usually fired from the rear arc) and said he wouldn't use it again but would probably opt for Siesmic Charges and a Stealth somewhere.

My squad was:

Cpt Jonus + Squad Leader + Seismic Charges
Scimitar Squadron + Assault Missiles + Proton Torpedoes + Seismic Charges
Scimitar Squadron + Assault Missiles + Proton Torpedoes + Seismic Charges
Howlrunner + Swarm Tactics

I landed an Assault Missile on Night Beast early, which spilled onto the other TIEs and allowed me to finish them off before I lost Howlrunner (a Proton Torpdeo took out Backstabber, Focused primary fire took out Night Beast, and Dark Curse got unlucky when Howlrunner rolled 3 natural hits and Curse rolled blanks). Fett used Expert Handling more times than not, partly to evade my arcs but also to drop Target Locks so I couldn't fire missiles on him. In the end, Focused primary fire from my remaining 3 Bombers were too much for Fett - but again, the dice were very much on my side.

It was a fun match, and I envied his late-turn decisions of which way and how far to move, often before Barrel Rolling or Boosting. It was tough to anticipate where he might go each turn, forcing me to widen my firing arcs (rather than tightly overlapping them).

As far as I know, there's no standard Fettigator list.

Part of that is that in the current meta it's a fun build, but it's not a very powerful one--in that (at the minimum) a 42-point Fettigator doesn't offer an offensive advantage over a 33-point Bounty Hunter. It does offer a substantial maneuvering benefit, which is equivalent to claiming a defensive advantage, but translating that into a competitive advantage requires a fair bit of practice and player skill.

It also has a problem in that the current Imperial meta makes the remaining 50-some points hard to spend. If you want two ships you're looking at a Bounty Hunter plus a single weak escort fighter, or two nasty-but-fragile Interceptors, or three relatively weak escort fighters.

But if pressed, I'd try something like this:
* [47] Boba Fett (39) + Veteran Instincts (1) + Navigator (3) + Engine Upgrade (4)
* [21] Howlrunner (18) + Stealth Device (3)
* [16] Dark Curse (16)
* [15] Black Squadron Pilot (14) + Draw Their Fire (1)

Veteran Instincts helps take the guesswork out of Fett's maneuvering advantage, since he'll almost certainly move last. Howlrunner gets a little defensive boost, and otherwise sticks around for a little while to boost Fett's attacks in the initial rounds and boost her tiny TIE cadre in the middle game. Dark Curse is always a good buy at 16, and the BSP makes everyone else's lifespan a little longer. (And if you don't like the BSP, swap it for Backstabber.)

ETA: Ooh, Expert Handling is nice. Let's try this as an alternate:
* [48] Boba Fett (39) + Expert Handling (2) + Navigator (3) + Engine Upgrade (4)
* [21] Howlrunner (18) + Stealth Device (3)
* [16] Dark Curse (16)
* [15] Night Beast (15)

Wow that looks like a fun build to try!

I really like putting Veteran Instincts on my Fettigator, it puts his PS to 10 and I feel gives him a commanding view for positioning.

I think my last build I tried with him had Boba Fett, Navigator, Veteran Instincts, Assault Missiles.

The other build I tried was the same, except instead of Assault missiles I took the Slave I title and Advanced Proton Torpedos.

I like both builds a lot, but it is a lot of points tied into one ship, and the ship went down early in both games. It's a high value/high priority target and for good reason.

Any thoughts of putting bombs or seismic charges on him?

If you are just starting with Fettigator, start with this list. It will give you a very good look at what you can (and can't) accomplish with him. This is probably not the MOST competitive list you can run, since he you have so much invested in Fett, but it will teach you the most about what you want him to do.

Boba Fett (39)
Autoblaster (5)
Navigator (3)
Expert Handling (2)
Proton Bomb (5)
Engine Upgrade (4)

Howlrunner (18)
Academy Pilot (12)
Academy Pilot (12)

For an even 100 points. Howlrunner and the APs to bust up formations, and Fett to swoop in and get in a turning war with the disorganized ships. There is a LOT going on with Fett, it's easy to forget something, but you also get a good chance to find out what all he can and cannot accomplish.

I'm 1 win and 1 modified loss with this Fettigator build.

Fett (39) + Nav(3) + Engine upgrade (4) + daredevil(3)

Vader (29) + squad leader (2)

Dark Curse (16) + stealth (3)

For 99 points.

Being able to give Fett an extra action is great. Being able to boost and daredevil out of firing arcs is a massive bonus whilst dark curse goes off and does his own thing.

I have seen this interesting list floating around:
Boba Fett (Navigator, Engine Upgrade, Veteran Instincts)
Bounty Hunter (Flight Instructor)
Dark Curse

Haven't played it myself yet but looks like fun.

I also haven't actually tried it yet... but I prefer not to stack too much on one ship, so I'm planning on:

Bobba Fett, Navigator, Engine Upgrade
3x Alpha Squadron Interceptors.

Not fancy, but the thought is there's enough firepower in the Ints to make a dent before they all die, and the Fettigator will be hard enough to lock down that even just working with his standard attack he should be able to sweep up the rest.

...of course, I mostly play Rebels, so this could be all wrong.

I played this list against my son, who played a Han Shoots First list (Marksmanship, Chewie, Gunner, 2 Rookie X-wings.) I narrowly won, with my remaining Academy TIE killing Han right after he took out Fett. My son probably could have won with some better targeting decisions, though.

Han w/ Marksmanship is nasty! The Gunner was totally vestigial--those 5 points can probably be better spent elsewhere. Chewie was awesome: I had knocked 2 shields off the YT and a perfectly placed proton bomb caused a Direct Hit (2 HITS), which Chewie discarded, and fixed a shield to boot. The YT came out better after being bombed.

As far as Fettigator: I loved the Engine Upgrade for the Boost action. I think I would have preferred Veteran Instincts instead of Expert Handling. Fett w/ VI = Han does NOT shoot first! Fett+VI+Navigator would almost ensure I could keep the YT (or anyone) in my firing arcs. More importantly, it would keep me from overshooting/colliding with the figure I'm trying to tail.

Thanks for all the inputs so far... I'll work my way through them!
