Beats me.

You might want to modify your thread title to something less confusing. The game actually has an event called Shellshocked, which is what I expected this thread to be covering.

It is somewhat very different. Shell Shock pretty much uses the Initiative system from the Ambush games. Soldiers uses an initiative track.

The samenesses are man to man, WWII, paper maps, dice, counters and, uhm, a box. There is also that not all soldiers activate at once, thanks to initiative values of the soldiers.

They differ vastly in how those initiative values interact. The players are more involved in initiative in Soldiers while in Shell Shock it is based on a die roll.
