Went on a trip recently and realized that not many of my games are conducive to travel due to size restrictions. Can some people name a few of their favorite games that are also easy to pack??

I have a tiny bag maybe 10''x7''x 6" that has

Hanabi & Ikebana
Fjords, packed in a deckbox
Sixis
Meuterer
Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde original tiny twilight edition
Love Letter
The Great Heartland Hauling Co.
Atta Ants
Atta Ants Expansion
Xanadú
Fairy Tale orignal tiny edition
Pico 2
Frank's Zoo
Vom Kap bis Kairo
Palastgeflüster
Hive pocket

lots of these are either boardgames or card games that have a "boardgame feel"

Lots of variety of mechanics and player counts in a small space.

Some card games have quite big boxes with inlays. So on my last trip, I took two boxes, removed the inlays and filled them with several card games.

At the moment, Sky Tango and Fairy Tale definitely would come with me... If I want to include solo games, I would go for Space Hulk: Death Angel – The Card Game and Friday.

And if I'm fed up with card games, I would take Hive with me.

Hive by far. Compact, great for travel, doesn't even need a table. Only plays for 2 though, but a neat and wonderful game. Logan Stones, same story, but hive is better

After taking the plastic insert out of the Forbidden Island tin, we managed to squeeze in six games for our summer holiday:

Forbidden Island
Geistesblitz
Heckmeck: Das Kultspiel
Incan Gold
Martian Dice
Yummy although any card game could have squeezed in ... but my son loves this one!

Glory to Rome every day and twice on Sundays. Just repack the games you want. It's surprising how small some of them can become.
