Im really thinking of buying this game. But on the GMT site it says it is in the low end of solitaire suitability. Ive seen some threads of people playing it solo. How does it play? Does it work?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I think plays great solo. You can't use the Decoy units, but that's about it.

Yep, Danny's right. TSC is very playable solo. I've been solo gaming war games since the early '80s. gulp
(There are two game stores where I live, but it's all Magic and Warhammer, and whatever other crap they play there.) There's just something weird about a 18-25 year old playing Pokeman.yuk

BTW Tom, I meant to add "BUY IT!" (If you can, there's a couple (very) minor production issues with the game that GMT is going to fix (so I think GMT has 'maybe' put a hold on selling it until they fix them.) Don't know for sure since I fortunately have my copy.

But the issues are nothing to stop you from getting it and enjoying it. You'll note that Danny, the Designer, is active daily on this forum.

Its definitely on my radar. It is available for pre-order at MM. $43. That must be because of the minor fixes.

As versus a 26+ year old individual playing with a paper board and a set of cardboard counters.

What I find strange is that the GMT site does indeed give it a "low" solitaire suitability rating, but on Roger's GMT P500 Geeklist, it has consistently been listed with a "high" solitaire suitability. See e.g. here:
http://www.boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/160511/item/2753365#it...

Anyone know what's up with that?
