Are there any games like Hive but that support more players? I like the idea and the fact that it's only two players is fine but it would be awesome to play with more than two as well.

If you can get a Kickstarter copy of For The Win, that's a game a LOT like Hive, but that may be hard to find.

Army of Frogs might be your best bet. It's made by the same man that designed Hive and I believe - although I haven't played it - has reasonably similar gameplay. It's for 2-4 players.

There is an iOS version that will be easier to obtain.

Ingenious is a great abstract game that plays up to 4 players. It's not quite like Hive other than it is an abstract game, but fun in it's own way.

+1 Ingenious

Further I´d suggest Blokus, Hey, That's My Fish! and my Topology.

Blokus Trigon and Tsuro are our favorite abstracts for more players.

Army of Frogs looks promising, although I've never played it.

Hey, That's My Fish! is great too.

Thanks guys for the responses. Yeah I think I've decided to just try a few of the two player abstracts out to see if I like them and stuff. Probably going to check out Hive Pocket first for it's portability, inclusion of the expansions and the cool bag lol. It's also relatively inexpensive as it looks like $20 after shipping from some places.

Tile Chess is for up to 6 players and seems pretty similar to Hive in many ways. For nicer pieces (but only supports two players) you can use the Chex 3d acrylic game parts from Nestor Games.

You should look into the GIPF Project family of games. Lots of cool abstracts to explore.

Check Stax for 2-3 players.

Army of Frogs is nowhere near as good as Hive.

For The Win (with 3p–4p expansion) feels like a slightly zanier, combolicious take on Hive, albeit on a square grid.
