This Hero uses a new keyword:

Indestructible: Any time you would KO a card with the keyword "Indestructible", you may discard that card instead.

I opted to introduce a new keyword so that other heroes can use it without cluttering their cards.

Name: Accrue Mass
Hero Name: Vision
Rarity: Common
Team Icon: [Avengers]
Hero Type Icon: [Tech]
Recruit: 2
Power: None
Cost: 3
Special Ability:
Indestructible
If you would gain a Wound, you may discard this card instead.

Name: Solar Beam
Hero Name: Vision
Rarity: Common
Team Icon: [Avengers]
Hero Type Icon: [Ranged]
Recruit: None
Power: 2
Cost: 4
Special Ability:
You may gain a Wound. If you do, you get +2[Power].

Name: Phasing Grasp
Hero Name: Vision
Rarity: Uncommon
Team Icon: [Avengers]
Hero Type Icon: [Tech]
Recruit: None
Power: 2
Cost: 5
Special Ability:
You may discard any number of Wounds. Draw that number of cards.

Name: Self Repair
Hero Name: Vision
Rarity: Rare
Team Icon: [Avengers]
Hero Type Icon: [Tech]
Recruit: 3+
Power: None
Cost: 7
Special Ability:
KO any number of Wounds from your hand or discard pile.
[Tech]: You get +1[Recruit] for each Wound KO'd this turn.

I really REALLY like the new keyword.

I think you built a Theme cohesive hero which is always nice to see. Also he could play well with Wound giving heroes (Fellow Avenger Hulk)

I think I would add Indestructible to Self Repair as well, just seems to fit. Also I think Self Repair would be ok with a 7 cost instead of a 8

Vision is a though nut to crack. I, too, love the new keyword, and the Wounds focus is very thematic. Well done!

I agree with Maverick that the rare should probably cost 7. Also, typo: "or Wounds" should be "of Wounds" in the rare's card text.

I am a little wary about giving "Self Repair" the new Indestructible keyword. I feel that it doesn't quite fit the theme of the card. I will wait to see what others think.

I also agree and I changed it in the original post.

Good catch.

After play testing Vision tonight, I have decided to change his common "Accrue Mass" so that you now must discard the card (instead of just revealing it) in order to negate a Wound. I feel that this is an acceptable compromise since the Indestructible keyword makes it quite powerful, especially late game when you have already eliminated most of your S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents and S.H.I.E.L.D. Troopers. A friend that was helping me test the cards also recommends that I reduce the Recruit points to one, but I thing this would make the card too weak for a cost of three. Any thoughts on this?

This is great! As a huge fan of the character, I really love the cards you designed here. I wish there was a way to retroactively give Emma Frost's "Diamond Form" the Indestructible keyword.
