Proof of Andrzej foreseeing the coming Arctic power struggle arrived this past week as the ice-hardened (not ice breaker, but accompanied by one) bulk cargo ship, Nordic Orion, sometime between the end of Sunday, September 22nd and the beginning of Monday, September 23rd (that is, around 12 AM GMT 9/22/2013) officially traversed the "Northwest Passage" between Canada and the North Atlantic Ocean, cutting 2000 or so km off the normal trip through the Panama Canal and allowing for a cargo of 25% more metallurgical coal by circumventing the draft limits of the canal. The Nordic Orion is apparently the largest ship with the most cargo to traverse the route at least since a slow crossing by the ice-breaker class tanker SS Manhattan in 1969.

Get your copy of 2019 now to be able to re-enact the coming political maneuverings!
