My wife and I just finished the painting of Shadow over Camelot for a fellow BGG user.

Here is the result !

The Knights, I'm quite happy about the armors, a mix of TMP & NMM.

The Knights ©the wife

The Artifacts, with the skin of the lady of the lake being waterish.

The bad guys :

There are those who look at things the way they are and ask why . . . I dream of things that never were and ask why not

Glad to see someone did the research to get Lancelot's shield accurate.

Awesome. Of course, the holy grail looks empty without some water in it.

Except that Arthur's, Kay's, Tristan's, and Gawain's shields, as they appear in the sculpts and character sheets, are all "wrong," so I'm not sure whether it's worth the trouble. Palamedes's shield is the only "correct" one.

(I use quotation marks because, obviously, the Knights of the Round Table are not historical figures, and of course heraldry as we know it did not exist in the 6th century AD, when the legend is set.)

EDIT: I forgot to mention that your painted minis look great, Vincy.

These coat of arms appear to be based on postcards that appeared circa 1910 from/printed by "King Arthur's Hall Tintagel- A Souvenir From King Arthur's Hall at Tintagel."

Similar items pop up for sale from time to time (there are at least 34 in the series).
