I keep hearing rumors that GW is rereleasing Epic 40K. Anybody else hear this? What would that mean for games like Warmaster or Battlefleet Gothic?

It’s worrisome for people like me sitting on rather large collections of supposedly discontinued OOP stuff. I would love to see these games supported again however.

What is up, anyone?

I only believe GW reprint rumours once they turn into official news. And in the case of Epic reprint rumours, I consider it doubly unlikely. It would represent a massive shift in business practices for them to introduce or bring back a whole new, fully-supported product line. For the last decade they've been streamlining their entire operation and limiting non-core (WHFB, 40K, LotR) releases to short term projects, if at all.

Doubtful. Just look what they did with Man O' War. They released Dread Fleet which did not do great. It wasn't Man O War in its pure sense. I know that there is another rule set coming out for 6mm figs by COllins Epic games called Polyversal.
